Zij zijn de Supernaturalisten, die jagen op Parasieten, blauwe doorschijnende wezens die het leven uit gewonden wegzuigen en enkel door zogenaamde Spotters kunnen gezien worden. Kosmo sluit zich noodgedwongen aan bij het groepje maar al snel blijkt dat ze in een gecompliceerd web van chantage en intriges terecht zijn gekomen.
