Daarin woont Lari Fari Jokketand, de grootste leugenaar aller tijden. En ook nu kan hij het weer niet laten; deze keer jokt en liegt hij zich letter voor letter uit de speelgoedkist in de grote wereld, samen met zijn vriend en tegenspreker, de eerlijke leeuw Hans (dat is diegene die iedere keer als Lari liegt hem op wil eten). Zij beleven tijdens hun reis ongelooflijke avonturen. Door Lari's toedoen ontkomen zij aan een wildjager. Zij begeven zich op de bekende toeristische wegen naar Venetië (waar de Leeuw Hans heerlijke gevoelens krijgt bij het zien van de gebeeldhouwde leeuwen). Onvoorzien zijn zij vervolgens in open zee en belanden in de buik van een vis. Gelukkig eindigt hun reis daar niet. Tenslotte komen zij in een poppentheater terecht en daardoor in de buurt van hun woonplaats. Tegelijk met de van een wereldreis terugkerende lappenpop komen zij weer bij de speelgoedkist  aan. De lappenpop was echter niet verder gekomen dan de dakgoot.</ins></div></td></tr> </table>
