Zijn Sciencefiction verhalen verschenen al in de jaren zestig maar het duurde tot 1977 dat zijn eerste roman Quando le radici verscheen. Samen met Massimo Lo Jacono richte hij in 1963 het SF tijdschrift Futuro op. Hij stierf in Pavia aan de gevolgen van een longziekte.
