Judit Ágnes Kiss is een Hongaarse dichter, schrijver, muzikant en danseres. studeerde literatuurwetenschap en ideeëngeschiedenis aan de Universiteit van Boedapest. Daarnaast heeft ze de opleiding drama aan de Academie voor Theater- en Filmkunst afgerond en de opleiding hobo aan de Universiteit van Pécs. Ze is docent aan de Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten. Muziek en dans spelen een hele grote rol in haar leven. Ze participeert als muzikant en danseres in verschillende groepen, bijvoorbeeld in ''Keleti Átjáró''. Judit Ágnes Kiss schrijft in haar gedichten vaak over de liefde. Toen ze in 2006 haar eerste dichtbundel publiceerde (inclusief tien jaar eerder geschreven gedichten), trok ze de aandacht door te schrijven over (lichamelijke) liefde als vrouw. Zo ver is de emancipatie in Hongarije nog niet gekomen, meent ze. Kiss's enige roman tot nu toe'', Szomor Veron'' uit 2008 : A keresztanya ('The Godmother') heeft een oudere vrouw als hoofdrolspeler. Het verhaal speelt zich af in een klein dorpje op het Hongaarse platteland en draait om Die Wende, laatste keer voor de val van de Berlijnse muur. Kiss's dichtbundel ''24 gedichten'' verscheen in het najaar van 2015 in Zweedse vertaling. Kiss werkt samen met het YAWU Műveztei Műhely moZAIK theater. Ze is een van de organisatoren van het zomerfestival Művészetek Völgye (Vallei van de Kunsten) in Kapolcs. Ze ontving onder meer de Artisju-literatuurprijs in 2007, de Déry Tibor-prijs in 2008 en de József Attila-prijs in 2012.</ins></div></td></tr> </table>
